We offer swing dance instruction in the Cape Winelands community in the form of private lessons, group lessons, and workshops. Our lessons cover everything Swing from the Charleston roots and solo jazz, through the golden age of Lindy Hop, and on to some blues and a little soul.

Wakey wakey charleston dancers! Tonight is our last practice for the winelands shoot. Come to the church on Eton and Kloof Nek in Tamboerskloof at 8 to learn the choreo and practice a few new moves for the big shoot. Newbies welcome. Can't wait!!!!

Big news everyone! Huge! Mark your calendars because on April 29th we have got the biggest treat in store for you. Lindy Hop goddess and solo jazz extraordinaire Ellie Hanus is making her way from New York to Cape Town this week, and guess what?! She's droppin' some Charleston knowledge at the Wednesday night practice. So bring your pencils because you're gonna wanna take notes ;)

It's no illusion: Cape Town Swing will be representing the joy of jazz with Jump Session at the Maya Troupe Variety Show "Illusion in the Forest"! If you can't be with the Dapper Dans and Sweet Sues (yes that's us ;)) on stage, won't you cheer us and the other fab dancers on in the audience? Hope to see ya there!

This Sunday we have our second practice for the Charleston performance group at De Waal Park. Tentatively looking at a 10-12 practice, but we will confirm once all the dancers have weighed in. It's not too late to join, so come on out!
