The Maties Cape Peninsula Shore Open was blessed with great conditions last weekend - no wind, great visibility and lekker spearfishing opportunities 🤩

Everything is a-ok! 👌🤿 Over this past weekend, 7 students (coincidentally, most were engineers 🤣) successfully completed their Open Water course - and what a weekend it was! With interesting conditions 🥴 but great visibility, the group made the most of every dive and absolutely nailed their skills.

A big thank you to for instructing the group from start to finish 💪 he even made friends with an octopus! 🐙

Coming in hot! 🔥 The Maties Underwater Club Hottie Shoot on the 21st of February was a massive success 🐟
Zero wind and mirror flat seas saw 54 eager spearos sign-in on Saturday morning. After tackling the patchy visibility and 13°C water, 28 divers landed fish for the weigh-in. Congratulations to:
