Weekend views, MTO trails are open but the Cape Nature trails remain closed after the heavy rains.
Given the substantial rainfall that we are currently experiencing, we have decided to close the park until further notice. Please respect the closure and the trails.

We are happy to announce that MTO Trails and Cape Nature will reopen from tomorrow, Friday 30/01/26.
A big thank you to the forestry and firefighting teams who have worked tirelessly over the past few weeks to get the fire under control and completely extinguished.
Time to enjoy the great outdoors once again. We look forward to seeing you all back on the trails!

After a week of fires threatening the park, we’re happy to share that the risk has passed and our trails will reopen to the public from tomorrow.

Please note the park is closed with immediate effect, due to a looming fire in the area. We will keep you up to date with the status of the park as the day unfolds.
