🎯 Exciting News for Shooters in the Western Cape!

We’re proud to introduce The Range at Phesantekraal, located on the historic Groot Phesantekraal farm in Durbanville.

NARFO has been appointed as the managing agent for the range, and we’re excited to begin building a long-term shooting home for recreational shooters, competitive marksmen, hunters, clubs, and associations.

Even better, The Range will be open this Easter weekend, and we look forward to welcoming shooters.

The range will host a wide variety of activities including:

• NARFO shooting disciplines
• Clay target shooting (Trap, S***t & Sporting)
• Durbanville Shooting Club events
• Kaapjag Sentraal disciplines
• Community training and shoots
• Club competitions and club events throughout the year

This is just the beginning as we work to develop a professionally managed shooting environment focused on safety, participation, and responsible firearm ownership.

In less than 2 weeks, it’s time again for the annual WP Open (Western Province Open) on Saturday, 28 March 2026 at Lourensford, outside Somerset West.

This is CTHRSA’s biggest shooting day and a long-standing favourite that has been running for many years.

It’s a day for the whole family, with lots of prizes for young and old. Visitors are very welcome, and anyone can participate.

On 9 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, the 𝗦𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗖𝗢 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 hosted a truly memorable 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 at 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯, with over 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 joining us for a day of fun, learning, and shooting experiences.

From 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 & 𝗣𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝘀 to 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗶𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝘀, and 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝗳𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴—it was a wonderful mix of excitement and empowerment!

We were honored to have Minister Ricardo Mackenzie from the Ministry of Sports, Arts & Culture, joined by his District Team, who personally extended their warm welcomes to our esteemed guests.
