🎀 PADEL FOR A PURPOSE — I LOVE BO***ES CHALLENGE 🎀
Hermi and René have entered the I Love Bo***es Challenge, starting on 1 October, and have committed to playing a minimum of 30 hours of padel in support of breast cancer awareness and early detection.
But we don’t want to stop at 30 hours. With the support of every Padel Go Agulhas player and the wonderful communities of Struisbaai, L’Agulhas, Suiderstrand, Struisbaai-Noord, Bredasdorp and Arniston, we believe we can reach 60 hours—or even an incredible 90 hours!
🏓 Players of all levels are welcome.
Whether you are an experienced player or picking up a racket for the first time, every hour on the court will help us move closer to our goal.
Why does this challenge mean so much to us?
René is a cancer warrior who knows firsthand how deeply cancer affects not only the person facing it, but their entire family. She knows the impact chemotherapy has on the body, the sleepless nights before check-ups, and the fear of receiving results that mean the journey must begin all over again.
But she also knows the overwhelming gratitude of ringing the bell after chemotherapy, the relief of a clear six-month check-up, the joy of reaching twelve months clear—and, finally, the beautiful word every cancer warrior longs to hear: remission.
This October, we are playing for every woman who is fighting, every survivor who carries the scars of her journey, every family walking beside someone they love, and every woman who deserves access to early detection.
Please help us turn 30 hours into 60—and 60 hours into 90!
