Amatola Shotokan Karate

A team of NSKF East London participated in an international WUKF tournament in Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth over the past week end. A bronze and gold medal for kumite/free fighting were attained. For some of the team it was a first time to participate in a competition. I'm proud of my students.
I have been trying to find a suitable venue in Stutterheim to create opportunities for locals in Stutterheim. Despite explaining my wishing to do so, doors are closed to me due to financial greed by church committee's and a local school who is not willing to allow or to support my dreams for Stutterheim.

A grading was held over the past week with NSKF East London karate club. All students successfully passed.

Teaching karate classes NSKF East London on Monday and Wednesday evening in Berea, East London. Junior students kept busy to allow parents to train.

Much has happened over the past week. I was approached by NSKF SA to take leadership of a dojo in East London. I have accepted. I continue training with local JKS Stutterheim karateka.
