What a bull for Viviene!
Nyala are one of the most striking animals we have in the bush... and a mature bull like this is something special to see up close.
A beautiful animal, a good shot and a very happy hunter. Congratulations, Viviene... this was a lovely one to be part of!

A proper Limpopo kudu and a memorable hunt for Danner.
There’s something about hunting kudu in this country that never gets old. Long hours looking through the bush, a lot of patience, and then suddenly it all comes together.

Ask any hunter...the real work starts after the shot!
Just before dark, Faan spotted this beautiful Kudu bull. After a clean shot, the giant made his way into a thicket of extra-heavy sekelbos. It took the team a of clearing thick brush in the dark to get him out, but nobody was complaining.
When you're loading up a massive 55-inch Rowland Ward bull, the heavy lifting feels like a breeze.
Faan is chasing the 60-inch dream, and he's almost there, we can feel it in our bones. Outstanding job, Faan!

- JIM AND THE BUFFALO -
Through dense bush he walked, over mountains he hiked,
Jim hunted the buffalo, determined and psyched.
He came close a few times, just shy of his aim,
The buffalo dodged him, continuing the game. He stumbled, he waited, both patient and true,
Then on the last day, one shot -just one- flew.
One perfect shot, no need to reload,
Jim smiled wide: and that night, the beer flowed!
