Seniors = Mud + Wet Trails!
The Seniors took on the final event of the Buffalo City School MTB Series at Lilyfontein — and the trails were definitely wet and muddy!
Tough conditions, challenging trails and plenty of mud made for an action-packed final race.
A muddy way to finish the series, but the riders showed true grit and determination right to the finish!

The Sprogs had another muddy race at Lilyfontein!
Mud, splashes and challenging trails didn’t stop the smiles! 😄💦 These young riders gave it their all and had a fantastic time out on the trails.

The Nippers had a great time out on the trails at Lilyfontein!
With a muddy trail, plenty of water splashes and lots of smiles, it was a fun-filled afternoon of racing and adventure!

The final event of the Buffalo City School MTB Series was held at Lilyfontein, and our Sub-Sub Nippers had an absolute blast out on the trails! 🚵‍♂️💨
From parents helping the little riders along the way to the biggest smiles at the finish — it was a wonderful day filled with fun, encouragement and happy memories. ❤️😊

A huge congratulations to all the riders selected to represent the Eastern Cape Buffalo City Team at the National School MTB Series Final in Stellenbosch!

Your hard work, dedication and commitment have paid off, and we are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Go out there, enjoy the experience and race with pride!

Schools MTB Series: The Battle for the Top! 🚴‍♂️🔥

The Buffalo City Cycling Schools MTB Series has delivered five exciting events, with an incredible 569 attendance points recorded across the Primary and High School categories.

🏆 Primary Schools: Lilyfontein dominated the standings with 150 points, followed by Stirling on 117and Merrifield on 114.

🔥 High Schools: Lilyfontein also took top honours with 27 points, ahead of Merrifield (14), Ooskus Gimnasium (10) and Stirling (9).

With riders earning points simply by getting to the start line, the series is all about participation, commitment and growing the sport of mountain biking.

A massive congratulations to every rider, school, parent, coach and volunteer who helped make the series such a success! The future of MTB is looking bright! 🚵‍♀️💨
