Yesterday, 30 April 2026, marked the 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗟𝗔𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗛 of the 𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗬𝗠 𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗕𝗬 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

The event took place at the VW People’s Pavilion, where all four participating schools came together to kick off the exciting event taking place tomorrow.

The programme featured a range of messages of support from Mr Gorgonzola, the NMM District Director, Mr Karodia, Chairperson of the alumni organisation UHPTTA, members of the School Governing Body, a representative from the Office of the Ward 49 Councillor, as well as a keynote address by Mr Shaun Oliver, current EPRU U21 coach. Sponsors and stakeholders were also in attendance to show their support.

A captivating musical item by Mrs Shuling Lindoor set the tone, after which the various school captains took to the microphone to express their readiness for the upcoming event. This was followed by a sincere vote of thanks delivered by the Principal, Mr Williams, with the support of the principals from the participating schools.

We extend our sincere thanks to all our sponsors and stakeholders who have contributed to making the 𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗬𝗠 𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗕𝗬 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 possible.

This is it. The moment has arrived. The 𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗬𝗠 𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗕𝗬 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 is finally here!

Tomorrow, all roads lead to the 𝗗𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺 where the action unfolds.

Learners from participating schools are encouraged to attend in full school uniform to stand a chance of winning exciting lucky draw prizes. Please note that 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 learners in uniform will be eligible for lucky draw prizes.

We invite the entire school community of our four participating schools to join us at New Horizon in Acacia for an exciting 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 to the field, where the day’s activities will take place.

Come dressed and ready in your 𝗚𝗘𝗘𝗦!

A variety of 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗦 will be available on the field, offering delicious treats and goodies.

We also wish to reassure all community members that the necessary 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗧𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗦, including police presence, have been put in place to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

We look forward to a safe and enjoyable day as we celebrate every learner competing on the rugby field, soccer pitch, and netball court.
