Three young footballers from Tsolo and Qumbu in the Eastern Cape are currently training with the Kaizer Chiefs FC Development team in Naturena, Gauteng.

‎Sivile Nomlala, Asanele Thungatha and Khanya Thungatha were scouted by Kaizer Chiefs scouts earlier this year during the Mxolisi Hoboyi Foundation Tournament held in Tsolo under the Mhlontlo Local Municipality.

‎If the Kaizer Chiefs development coaches are impressed with the trio, they are set to join the team officially next season, as they are still completing their studies this year.

‎Earlier today, SPORT IN Our VEINS spoke to tournament founder Mxolisi Hoboyi who is in Naturena accompanying the players.
‎
‎Mr Hoboyi expressed his excitement and wished the boys all the best, this was also Hoboyi’s first visit to the Kaizer Chiefs Village in Naturena.
‎
‎“We are praying for these young boys to make the most of this opportunity,” Hoboyi said.

‎Highbury FC is an Eastern Cape-based team competing in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, previously known as the NFD. The club parted ways with its previous coach ahead of this appointment.
