SHE SHOULD HAVE COME HOME!!!
She left as a runner. She had a life, dreams, people who loved her and a road ahead of her.
Instead, she was abducted and murdered. 💔💔💔💔💔 As runners, this one hits differently. We know the freedom that comes with putting on our running shoes and stepping onto the road. But no woman should have to fear that she may not make it home simply because she went for a run. Her life was not a statistic. She was someone’s daughter, sister, mother, friend and loved ones. She was a woman with dreams that deserved to continue. Today, Vuselela Sports Club stands with her family, the running community and every woman who has ever felt unsafe on the road.
We run because we love life.
We run for our health.
We run for our freedom.
And we should be able to run without fear.

🕊️ May she rest in peace. May her family find strength. May her story never be forgotten.
And to every woman out there, your safety matters. Your life matters. Your voice matters.
