What an incredible U35 Tournament we had! 💚🤍
Five days of blood, sweat & tears, but most of all, such a memorable tournament — something I will cherish and remember always.
Thank you Peter, Jerry and all the helpers for giving us beautiful greens. Every single day our greens looked spectacular.
Thank you to each and every person who helped with the scoreboards and flip boards wherever needed. Thank you to everyone who picked up a paper, bottle or any other items to help keep our club looking its absolute best.
Thank you Papi for raising the flags during the opening ceremony — you did us proud!
Thank you to each and every person who helped in the kitchen. Preparing and planning all those meals is no joke. With almost 1,000 plates of food served from our kitchen, it was an incredible achievement. Thank you Mossie and your whole team for working day in and day out. Every meal was on time and delicious, and the kitchen worked like a well-oiled machine. 👏
Thank you Carla and the rest of us working behind the bar. It was really, really busy and hard work, but we did it together — through late nights and very little sleep. At the end of each day, all players, managers and spectators were helped quickly and everyone was happy.
Thank you to every person who helped collect glasses from the tables and outside, and to those who helped wash the thousands of glasses. 🍻
Thank you Colin & Leslie for coming from Allanridge every day and working tirelessly, always ready and willing to help. You were there through all the preparations before, during and after the tournament. We really appreciate everything you did.
Thank you Barnie for working at the club before and during the tournament. You really were an all-rounder — from fixing, cleaning and carrying to shopping and everything in between. You name it, you were there! You made so many tasks easier for us.
Thank you to every spectator who came to the club to enjoy some bowls and support the bar. Your support also means a lot to us.
Thank you to every member who helped before the tournament, getting our club into top shape, with beautiful gardens, fresh paint and everything looking its best. 🌿
Thank you David and Robbie for being around the greens every single day and making sure everything ran smoothly. The umpiring and scoring were absolutely top notch.
Thank you Carlos for arranging the streaming line for this incredible event, making it possible for people from all over the world to enjoy the games.
And lastly, thank you to our committee for all the arrangements, planning, helping and simply being there whenever needed.
