A match full of goals and pace ends with City coming out victorious as they visited a strong African Jaguars with a lot of young and talented players coached by one of the most experienced coaches in Mbekweni Coach Mavuso. City continues with their unbeaten run in the new year as they prepare for the 2026 DLFA promotional league season.

Wellington City hosted their neighbours yesterday( 21-01-2026) for a training match as both clubs continue to prepare for the 2026 DLFA promotional league. The game ended in a 3 - 3 draw, a very exciting new talent from City and Warriors that seems to be promising for the new season.

To all City followers:

The club officially started their pre season yesterday the 12th of January 2026. All junior structures will start training at 16:00 and senior team will start at 17:30.

New players are welcome to come and join us for the new season.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the people and organisations that has always supported us through the past season and wish they can continue with their support this season too. There will be a lot of new developments and changes within the club and everyone will be duly informed as times goes.

City will come into the weekend playing the most in form team in the Promotional League. It will certainly not be an easy game for both teams but we will all hope the best team on the day WIN🔥🔥🔥
