Every aspect of the event will be led by women, from an all-female K1 fight card to female referees, judges, medical personnel, and event staff.

This is a celebration of the women who compete, lead, officiate, and serve within our sport, while inspiring future generations to pursue excellence with confidence and determination ✨️

On 5 December 2026, the inaugural WKU K1 SA Grand Prix will provide one of the biggest opportunities yet for K1 athletes to showcase their talent in South Africa.

🌍 WKU World President, Klaus Nonnemacher, and WKU World Vice President, Patricia Dalton, will attend the Grand Prix to scout and identify talent for future international opportunities.

This is your chance to be part of this prestigious event featuring three elite 4-man Grand Prix divisions and a selection of high-calibre showcase bouts 🔥

Selection is earned, not guaranteed. Grand Prix divisions and showcase bouts will be selected from the applications received, based on recent performances, overall experience, and the quality of the available match-ups.

This is a rare opportunity to perform in front of WKU World Leadership on a prestigious platform and take a step towards the international stage 🥊
