JWM Shooting Range

Our outdoor range is so much better than an indoor range in that you can move around more, adjust the position & distance to your target better, set up multiple targets to shoot at and enjoy the great serene lowveld bush surroundings at the same time.

In addition to this, our tariffs are structured so as to allow exclusive use of a range to an individual/group that have booked it. We do not charge per person, but rather a hourly fee to hire the range.

So you do not share a range with strangers if you have booked it for a specific time and date. It is exclusively yours (and for those accompanying you at no extra cost) to use for the time you have booked and paid for.

We also now have on-site braai facilities free to use after your shoot.

WE HAVE NOT MANAGED TO SUCCEED IN ESTABLISHING A SOCIAL SHOOTING CLUB AND JWM SHOOTING RANGE HAS CLOSED DOWN FOR GENERAL PUBLIC USE.

IT IS NOW A PRIVATE TRAINING FACILITY.

The Covid-19 financial meltdown has finally forced us to review our small business and the continued viability thereof. Dwindling support and increasing costs have moved us to take the decision that JWM Shooting range will no longer be open to the general public as from 1 April 2021.

We will however, attempt to establish a social shooting club to which interested persons can apply for membership. A monthly club fee will apply, and if we can recruit enough members, this will give us a more stable and sustainable income to continue with our business. Interested persons can mail us at [email protected] for more information. The club will only go ahead if sufficient membership is secured.

After 1 April 2021, our facility remains available to firearm instructors and their students, as well as for Reg 21 and general maintenance shoots for the security industry.

We make use of this opportunity to thank all our clients and friends that have supported us over the past nine years. It is with great sadness that we have taken this decision and we hope that you will consider the club membership option for continued use of our facilities.

We are closing from today 17 Dec 2020 and will re-open on 4 January 2021.

A sincere thank you to all our patrons that supported us throughout the lock-down and the whole of 2020.
