2026 Annual Yellowtail Challenge – Thank You!
What a day in Yzerfontein!
The Yellowtail may have had other plans for us this year, but that certainly didn’t stop our anglers from getting out on the water and making the most of the 2026 Annual Yellowtail Challenge.
From the early morning launch to the prize-giving and lucky draws, the spirit amongst the crews was fantastic.
A sincere thank you to every skipper, crew member and junior who entered and supported the event. Fishing competitions are about far more than the fish, they are about getting together, enjoying the water and supporting the angling community.
An equally big thank you goes to all our sponsors, large and small. Your contributions, prizes, products and support made the event possible and helped us give our entrants a memorable day.
Total of 39 boats launched, with a 138 entrants. Ten Juniors & 8 Ladies in total. Well done to all.
