Adrenaline Zambia

Adrenaline Zambia is proud to have been part of the Africa Academies Championships hosted by Elite Stars Football Academy at Queensmead Stadium in Lusaka, Zambia, from December 15th to 17th, 2023. Teams from Botswana, Zimbabwe, and local academies like Skills Soccer Academy, Lusaka Stars Soccer Academy, and the host, Elite Stars Academy competed across various age groups.

The three-day tournament, spanning under 10, 12, 14, and 16 levels, showcased remarkable talent. Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Technical Director Lyson Zulu, the guest of honor, acknowledged the potential displayed by young players. He identified promising talents who could tryout for the under-15 National Soccer Team, set to compete in a TDS tournament in Ghana early next year.

Mr. Zulu commended the tournament organizers and called for additional support through sponsorships from other interested parties. He made assurance that the Zambian football governing body is ready to engage with and support such initiatives, fostering a commitment to the development of young talents.

The event's success underscores the importance of nurturing and exposing young football talent to healthy competition. Adrenaline eagerly anticipates more developmental football events to contribute to the growth of emerging players.

Woodlands Stadium was packed and electric when the Copper Queens faced the Twiga Stars of Tanzania in an exciting send-off match. The Zambia Women’s National Soccer Team won the game with a goal scored by Comfort Selemani.

We wish the Copper Queens the best at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
