🌟 Samuel Matete Athletics Academy receives K15,000🌟
Last month, The Cherise Makubale Foundation donated K15,000 to the Samuel Matete Athletics Academy.
Samuel Matete, Zambia’s iconic 400m hurdles champion and 1991 World Championship gold medallist, continues to inspire young athletes through his academy.
This was a befitting end to our 2026 charity calendar. “Matete is someone I personally admire and wanted to give him his flowers for all his contributions to Zambia”, Cherise said.
This donation supports grassroots sports development and honours his lasting legacy in Zambian athletics.
