Today siavonga volleyball Club traveled to Zimbabwe to play a friendly match with Padenga Giants Volleyball Club at Nyamhunga primary school were siavonga managed to win the game with 3 set to 1 as Padenga loose..
It was a great journey to be hosted with Love and Care from the Club..

ZAMBIA BEACH VOLLEYBALL NATIONAL TEAMS EMBARK ON THE ROAD TO QUALIFICATION FOR THE LOS ANGELES 2028 OLYMPIC GAMES THROUGH THE CAVB ZONE VI BVB 1ST LEG TOUR, WINDHOEK, NAMIBIA, 19-23 FEBRUARY 2026.
The Zambia Volleyball Association is pleased to announce that the national beach volleyball teams will participate in the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) Zone VI BVB 1st Leg Tour, scheduled to take place in Windhoek-Namibia, from February 19 to 23, 2026. This tournament marks a crucial step in the qualification process for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
The technical commission has entrusted Mr Kanyimbo Zachariah former International Beach Volleyball player and Chabota Hamainza Siavonga Volleyball Club Head Coach and Southern Province Volleyball Association Chairperson as Head and Assistant Coach for the Zambian senior national teams respectively. The coaching staff has summoned a combined 13-member Provisional National Beach Volleyball team to camp effective 7th February, 2026, in Lusaka for intensive preparations at the Olympic Youth Development Centre-OYDC. The selected players are: -

2. Charles Akakandelwa – Green Buffaloes Volleyball Club
3. Hamainza Munalula – UNZA Volleyball Club
4. Chabota Hamainza – UNZA Volleyball Club

6. Martin Chiputa – Red Arrows Volleyball Club
7. Brighton Mwenya – Green Buffaloes Volleyball Club

The team will later shift to a residential camp on 13th February, 2026, and depart for Windhoek, Namibia, on 16th February, 2026, to compete in the tour by road.
