Sport has the power to change the
world. It has the power to inspire.

This run doesn’t need to impress anyone. It just needs to be done, for you. 💚👟

That every run has to be hard to be effective. That missing a day means you’re failing. That progress should be fast, visible, and linear.

We’re unlearning the pressure to chase pace, compare journeys, and ignore fatigue.

Running isn’t about proving toughness — it’s about building consistency, protecting your body, and staying in the sport long enough to grow.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s longevity. 💚👟

Faith Kipyegon’s story is about patience, resilience, and quiet excellence.

From returning to elite competition after motherhood to breaking world records in the 1500m and mile, she has redefined what’s possible for women in sport.

She shows that progress doesn’t have to be loud — consistency, belief, and trust in the process can take you further than you imagine.

Listening to your body doesn’t mean avoiding hard work. It means knowing when to push and when to pull back. It’s recognising the difference between discomfort and pain, respecting fatigue before it turns into injury, and adjusting your pace or plan when needed. That awareness is what keeps runners consistent, healthy, and running long-term. 💚👟

Motivation fades. Habits stay. On the days you don’t feel inspired, showing up anyway is what builds consistency. 💚

03/02/2026

You don’t need to be fast, experienced, or confident to start.
Take it one step at a time, allow your body to adapt, and don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s.

Progress comes from showing up consistently, not from perfection. 💚

02/02/2026

You don’t have to feel strong to be making progress. 🏃

Heavy legs, slow pace, and doubt are part of the process. 💚

Showing up on a hard day builds more than fitness — it builds resilience. 💪

Keep moving, even if it’s slower than planned. Today still counts. 👟

With many more races being added to the running calendar in Zambia, I encourage everyone to join a running club. Being part of a club offers friendship, support, accountability, and encouragement — all of which make a huge difference on your running journey, no matter what goal you’re working towards.

I also encourage you to join Zambia Races, a free WhatsApp calendar of outdoor sports events and races across Zambia. It’s a great way to stay informed about what’s coming up and to plan your race year. While it’s not yet fully comprehensive, it’s continually being updated.

Let’s keep growing the running community — together 💙👟

If the heat feels overwhelming, your pace drops sharply, or you feel dizzy or nauseous, it’s okay to stop. 💚

Extreme heat increases the risk of dehydration and heat exhaustion.

Choose an early morning or evening run, slow your pace, shorten the distance, or swap the run for rest or light movement.

Listening to your body is part of being a strong runner. 💪

Slow runners often last longer because they train smarter. 🕶

They build endurance without burning out, reduce the risk of injury, and learn to listen to their bodies.

Over time, consistency beats speed — and staying healthy keeps you running for years, not just seasons.

It's not a linear path to success! Once you take a step back, you can see how far you've come. Keep going WIZRunners! 💚🏃

Beatrice Chebet represents the new generation of African distance runners: focused, fearless, and quietly dominant. From world cross-country champion to record-breaking performances on the track, she has shown that consistency and belief can elevate talent into greatness.

Her rise reminds women everywhere that you don’t need noise or hype to succeed. Just commitment, patience, and the courage to keep showing up. 💚💪✨
