COUNTING OF VOTES UNDERWAY

At the Ikeleng'i Constituency totalling centre being held at the Civic Centre, votes from 17 out of the 41 polling stations have so far been received.

A total number of 7, 087 presidential votes have since been received, verified and announced.

DEO MONITORS VOTING PROCESS

Ikelenge District Electoral Officer, Himbala Kaumba today took time to the ongoing voting process in some selected polling stations across the district.

The District Electoral Officer managed to monitor Katooka school Polling and Lawakela Polling Station 1 and 2 in Lwakela Ward.

He also monitored Jimbe Polling station 1 and 2, Nyakaseya Polling station and Kaleni polling station.

Mr. Kaumba monitored Mwininyilamba and Kelondu pollings stations to state just a few.

In the early hours of the day, the District Electoral Officer visited all the 4 polling station at Ikelenge Day Primary School were he was impressed with the turn out.
