At Siamalonda, Antonio FC walked away with a 3–0 walkover victory after Senanga Rangers FC failed to honour the fixture, handing Antonio valuable points as the league race tightens.
However, not all fixtures saw action.
The clash between End Water FC and Barotse Crocs FC was postponed,
while Y Junction FC and Sandy Riders will meet on another date. The encounter between Kalabo Prisons FC and Pen B also failed to take place after the away side was suspended from the league.

FOOTBALL DRAMA IN MAYUKWAYUKWA: END WATER FC “DRIED UP” AS MAYUKWAYUKWA UNITED TOOK FULL CONTROL ⚽😂
The football gods were clearly watching over Mayukwayukwa United this weekend as they turned their home ground into a theatre of drama, celebration, and a little bit of comedy at the expense of End Water FC.
From the first whistle, End Water FC arrived looking confident in their blue jerseys. Their passes were sharp, their movement looked promising, and for a few minutes the crowd wondered if the visitors had come to make a serious statement.
But Mayukwayukwa United had other plans.
Instead of allowing the visitors to “flow like water,” the home side built a solid football dam. Every attack from End Water FC was blocked. Every run was chased down. Every shot was either saved or sent back the way it came.
It quickly became clear that the water had no place to flow in Mayukwayukwa.
The crowd started enjoying the show. Every tackle from the white jerseys was cheered like a goal. The players of Mayukwayukwa United looked confident, relaxed, and completely in control of the match.
Meanwhile, the blue shirts of End Water FC slowly began to look like a team that had forgotten where their water source was. Chances came and went… and so did their hopes of victory.
By the final whistle, the story was obvious.
Mayukwayukwa United smiling, celebrating, and walking tall.
End Water FC wondering what exactly just happened.
Some fans around the field were even heard joking..
“Maybe it’s time for End Water FC to change their name… because the water has already ended before the match even finished!” 😂
Another supporter shouted🤣🤣🤣
“Next time bring more water, because Mayukwayukwa United are too hot to handle”
Despite the jokes, End Water FC did try to play good football. But on this particular weekend, Mayukwayukwa United were simply the kings of the pitch.
One thing is certain though when these two teams meet again, End Water FC will come back thirsty for revenge.
But for now…
The water has ended… and Mayukwayukwa United are enjoying the victory! ⚽🔥😄

🔥 SUPER SATURDAY IN KAOMA 🔥
Luena Buffaloes FC vs Sandy Raiders FC
Kaoma, cancel your plans. Hide the remote. Charge your drums. This one is personal.
In Mangango, Sandy Raiders stole meat from the Buffaloes’ mouth with a 1–0 win ,sealed by a calm penalty. No chaos. No five goals. Just one cold kick and goodbye. Buffaloes went home chewing grass and thinking, Is that all?
Now the rematch lands in Kaoma.💢💢💥💥
Luena Buffaloes are back on their own soil and you know a buffalo at home is not polite. The crowd will be loud, the tackles will be louder, and every missed chance will cause coaches in the stands to shout instructions.
But wait….. Sandy Raiders are not tourists. They are coming organized, confident, and smiling like people who have already done the job once. They know frustration is their best friend.
So what are we expecting?
Drama.
Hard tackles.🐒🐒
Goalkeepers flying like superheroes.
Fans sweating more than the players.
Will the Buffaloes charge and settle the score?
Or will the Raiders quietly walk away again like professional heartbreak specialists?
Super Saturday is here.
Bring your voice. Bring your nerves. Leave your excuses at home.

Old Golden Days of Sesheke Football
If you are a true follower of football, you will agree Sesheke has always been a powerhouse of talent.
Back in the day, football was not just a game, it was the heartbeat of the district. Match days were sacred. The dust would rise from the pitch, drums would echo in the background, and pride was on the line.
When you crossed over to Katima Mulilo, you found giants like Katima United with bo sangu and Monde FC with shai kumwenda ,teams that commanded respect wherever they went. Facing them was never a friendly visit, it was a football war.
But come back home to Sesheke the Boma and the story became even richer.
There was All-Stars, lighting up Sesheke Basic with fearless, energetic youngsters.
There was Medics, a team that dissected opponents with precision. Mr. Azizi a magician with the ball made defenders look ordinary. Mr. Ebbet, famously known as “bosibe,” controlled the midfield like a general commanding troops.
LYambai Football Club had Gaston, the deadly number nine, a striker who turned half-chances into certain goals. Alongside him stood Mr. Siameja calm, sharp, and clinical defender.
Zajo was more than a team,it was a football family built on unity and pride.
Even the prison team though its name may have faded left memories that still echo in conversations today.
In Mwandi, Mwandi United carried its own badge of honour, proving that every corner of the district had talent worth watching.
Those were not just teams.
They were institutions.
They built rivalries that divided supporters but united the district. They created heroes whose names are still spoken with respect.
They gave young boys dreams , dreams of wearing those jerseys and hearing the crowd chant their names.
There were no fancy stadiums. No sponsorship deals. No social media hype.
Just raw passion, dusty pitches, and pure football.
Football in Sesheke is not starting today it has deep roots. And as long as there is pride in the community and a ball to kick, the spirit of those golden days will never fade.
Sesheke football has been there.
And it will still be there.

The Fall of Yeta FC
The rise of Yeta Football Club was not accidental it was built on structure, discipline, and vision. And that is why its fall hurts even more.
For a long time, Yeta FC was the pride of Western Province. This was a club that understood professionalism in a region where many teams struggled with resources...They traveled a day before matches. ..They booked proper accommodation. Players rested. Training sessions were organized. Management was active and visible... There was order.
This was not guesswork it was planning.
While other clubs arrived on match day tired from long distance travel, Yeta came prepared. While others operated on improvisation, Yeta operated on coordination. That difference showed on the pitch.
The team carried the hopes of Sesheke and beyond. Young players dreamed of wearing the badge... Supporters felt ownership. For once, Western Province had a club that looked ready to compete seriously and represent the province with pride.
Then suddenly, everything changed.
Momentum disappeared. Stability weakened. The structure that once made the club strong seemed to shake. And when a well organized team collapses, it is rarely because of football alone. Financial strain, internal misunderstandings, leadership conflicts, community pressure these are the silent battles that destroy clubs from within.
Let us be factual running a football club at provincial level is expensive. Transport costs are high. Accommodation is not free. Player welfare requires funding. Registration and logistics demand resources. Most administrators sacrifice personal money and time out of passion not profit.
When the same community that celebrates success begins to criticize destructively or frustrate leadership, the foundation cracks.
The fall of Yeta FC should not only be a story of disappointment. It should be a lesson.
Football is not sustained by talent alone. It is sustained by unity, patience, proper management, and community support. If we frustrate those who invest their resources and energy into building clubs, we discourage the very people trying to elevate our province.
Western Province deserves stable and well run teams. It deserves leadership that is supported, not attacked.
Because when one organized club rises, the whole province rises.
And when one falls, we all feel the loss.
The fall of Yeta FC must teach us one thing..building is hard destroying is easy. Let us choose to build.
