A fully packed Edwin Imboela Stadium floated a pending bragging rights battle of the Police Queens. High Flying Nkwazi Queens hosted Kamfinsa Police Blue Eagles in a police derby.

The highly charged fixture was witnessed by senior officers in the Zambia Police Service ranks. The battle for the bragging rights promised sparks and strikes. Both teams were coming from chronicled victories in their previous fixtures and had the evidence to grab bragging rights in the derby. High Flying Nkwazi Queens suspended the sisterhood tag by summoning their zeal and taught their Copperbelt based sisters a footballing lecture.

The prolific serial attacker in Enelesi Phiri tortured the visiting sisters with waves of attacks. Her persistent attacks made Suwilanji Chibesa popularly known as 'Princess Ronaldo' open the score line in the first stanza. The game unfolded with promises of a stable second half, but the staunch Azed Phiri closed the backline with easy and experience.

The pressure on the opponents kept building due to the aggression of the skipper Enelesi Phiri, Suwilanji Chibesa and Jessy Bwalya. Kamfinsa Police Blue Eagles tried to restore their hope by trying to launch their attacks, but the Azedi controlled backline was greed enough not to donate any consolation goal to their sisters. BANKERS SALUTE

The Week 15 Zambian Women Premier League fixture was a test of bragging rights in the central part of the capital city. The Bankers hosted the High Flying Nkwazi Queens at their magnificent Sunset Stadium.

The tightly contested fixture was witnessed by a reasonable crowd of eye witnesses who congregated to therapy their minds despite a threatening rainy weather. Nkwazi Queens were equal to the task when Caroline Lonyi opened the score line, while the prolific serial striker in Eneles Phiri quarantined the hopes of ardent ZANACO Ladies supporters after her pricking brace. The journey to Imboela was characterized by spectacular pomp and an outbreak of jubilation, while Sunset was invaded by a shadow of despair and agony.
