FUSION FC CEO SEASON BRIEFING

Warm greetings to you all.

First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Almighty God for His continued guidance and to each one of you for your unwavering support throughout this season. It is through our collective effort and dedication that we have reached this far.

As reflected in the current league table, the season has progressed as expected, though there remains room for improvement. As of Matchweek 11, Fusion FC proudly stands in 4th position, a commendable achievement that reflects the hard work of our players, coaches, and technical staff.

Fusion FC currently has a total of 115 registered players ranging from the Under-5 to Under-19 age categories. All our teams are actively participating in competitive tournaments. In addition, our girls’ teams (U5–U17) have officially commenced their participation in the FAZ Grassroot League this week a significant milestone in our commitment to inclusivity and player development.

Running a football academy of this magnitude has not been without challenges, particularly financial ones, as grassroots football generates little to no revenue. Nonetheless, through resilience and divine grace, we continue to manage effectively.

Our Age Management Project aims to nurture each age group over a minimum three-year development cycle, ensuring that every player progresses through structured training and competition. Our long-term vision is to produce world-class footballers capable of competing at the highest international levels.

All our teams are affiliated with the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) under the grassroots football program. We remain committed to ensuring that every Fusion FC team consistently participates in competitive matches, both locally and beyond. Looking ahead, we aspire to expand globally by engaging in international competitions in the 2026/2027 season.

In line with our growth strategy, we are in the process of introducing our own branded kit, a move that will not only enhance our identity but also generate additional revenue. Our ultimate goal is to transform Fusion FC into a self-sustaining club, complete with its own stadium and facilities.

We also plan to reopen the paid academy next year, once all logistical and safety measures for our young players are fully in place. Further details will be shared in due course.

At Fusion FC, we remain deeply committed to realizing dreams both ours and those of every young player who walks through our gates. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all parents and guardians who have entrusted us with the development of their children. Your trust is the foundation of our success.
