A Day of Purpose and Connection

On Tuesday 18th August, following his engagement with TIMD students, Dr. Yong proceeded to a fellowship session with members of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU).

The session was marked by devotions offered for the growth of providential organizations and the nation at large, alongside meaningful engagement with the movement and its leadership.

A day rooted in purpose, unity, and shared vision for the nation. 🙏🇿🇲

A HISTORIC MEETING FOR MARTIAL ARTS EDUCATION IN ZAMBIA 🇿🇲

A fruitful engagement took place at the Ministry of Education, as the World Tong-Il Moo Do Federation and the Zambia Tong-Il Moo Do Federation met with officials from the Curriculum Development Centre (CDC) to present the Character and Moral Education content for schools.

The Ministry of Education has expressed willingness to collaborate with the Federation, marking an important step toward integrating Moo Do's values of discipline, respect, and character-building into Zambia's education system.

We look forward to what this partnership will bring for the youth of Zambia! 🙌

World Unified Martial Arts Federation for the Peace Initiative officially launched!

Today, the ZAMBIA TONG-IL MOO-DO FEDERATION successfully hosted the International Conference of Martial Arts and the official launch of the World Unified Martial Arts Federation for the Peace Initiative in Lusaka.

Under the theme, “The Role of Martial Arts in Youth Development and Leadership for Sustainable Development: Building Character, Empowering Future Leaders, and Promoting a Culture of Peace,” the conference brought together stakeholders and martial arts enthusiasts to reflect on the transformative power of martial arts in shaping young people and communities.

In his keynote address, Dr. Yong, International Chairman of the Official: World Tong Il Moo Do Federation, emphasised that martial arts goes beyond physical training. It is a powerful tool for character development, discipline, self-confidence, responsibility and leadership.

He highlighted the important role martial arts can play in helping young people stay away from negative vices and harmful behaviours that can destroy their potential, derail their futures and negatively impact their communities. Through discipline, mentorship and positive values, martial arts can provide young people with a constructive path to discover their purpose, develop resilience and become responsible leaders.

The conference also featured the official launch of the World Unified Martial Arts for Peace Initiative, martial arts demonstrations, goodwill messages and opportunities for networking and global collaboration.

As we continue to invest in our young people, let us recognise that building strong nations begins with building strong character.

Building Character, Building a Nation 🇿🇲🥋

A meaningful engagement with TIMD students as part of Dr. Yong’s visit, providing an opportunity to better understand the work and structure of the Zambian Tong-Il Moo-Do Federation, while connecting with the students and sharing the essence and significance of Tong-Il Moo-Do.

The interaction highlighted the vision for the growth and expansion of TIMD in Zambia, with a strong emphasis on character education, discipline, unity and values as essential foundations for building a stronger nation.

The students also did some demonstrations which were very inspiring performances, before sharing a meal and strengthening the bonds of fellowship.

Tomorrow is gonna be a big event! 🔥👏🏾
