Solution- The vocational skills training center offers both formal education and informal education. The formal education will consist of basic primary school education following the government educational curriculum while the informal education will entail training in dressmaking/tailoring and entrepreneurial skills, carpentry and joinery, welding and fabrication, computer and Power Electrical. The basic primary formal education prepares the children to join secondary education then university. Long-Term Impact - The project contributes to youth and children’s development in skills for self-reliance and entrepreneurship. It creates employment opportunities for disadvantaged youths and young adults - helping them to move from poverty and unemployment to self-sufficiency. This effective intervention continues to provide the essential skills that school drop outs and unemployed youths need in their quest towards financial independence.
