I had the privilege of being part of the Copper belt University ladies team who won Gold at the just ended Zusa games.. It was a great tournament which featured 10 Universities from various provinces across the country. The Copper belt University is not only known for winning the ladies Chess category for several consecutives but also producing some of Zambians best Female players.. The likes of Lorita Musanda Mwango, Bridget Mayani, Daisy Zaza Simenda, Niza Chilingwe, Isabel Mwewa, to mention but a few. We wish to thank the Copper belt University management and students for their warm support.. As we continue to scope more medals for the Mighty Copper belt University..
Gracias!

Success doesn't come instantly, it requires patience, hardwork and determination. To be successful, you have to use each day as an opportunity to improve, to be better, to get a little bit closer to your goals. It might sound like a lot of work—and with a busy schedule, next to impossible. But the best part is, the more you accomplish, the more you’ll want to do, the higher you’ll want to reach. So as long as you have the hunger for success, you will always have the power within you to achieve it.

MY STORY
I get asked alot of questions like,
"How did you start playing chess"
"Who inspired to reach this far"
"What are your future plans for chess" etc
I will answer all of these questions one at a time.
HOW I LEARNT HOW TO PLAY CHESS
The foundation of my entire chess career has been family. I couldn't be who I am today without their unconditional love and support.
2008 it was, a cousin of mine visited my home. I was only seven at the time. He started to teach chess to my beloved oldest sister Kabamba Bwalya Phiri, Who then learnt how to play and they began to play. Unknown to them, I was an undercover observer lol. I noticed and analysed how it worked and bit by bit I was growing to love the game of chess. 2009, After my cousin had left, My sister, Kabamba and My father started playing chess during dinner time. It was until then that i disclosed my talent and started showing my father some good moves that my sister wasn't too happy about. She decided to challenge me to a match then later showed me some basics of chess I was lacking behind with.
That is my story...
What is yours?
