A broken heart that chose to love again.

But then I could not bear the pain,
my heartbeat was like a rolling stone,
I could hear the sound fading out in my ears,
Old memories flowing through my eyes like candle flickers.

There I sat, on the cold surface
freezing from the night's breeze,
holding torn pieces
of my heart. I had worn a somber face.

Purely I felt the selfless feeling, bitterly I learnt that
I was a way of passing time,
Was torn apart, thought I would never start afresh,
thought I would never find peace,
find comfort, find happiness,
and find someone I would abundantly love,
I lived in despair, caressing my lonely dark world,
shunning away from the illuminating light,
living in the past and tirelessly sulking.

To my dismay, like fog
the pain went away,
like a shooting star
you came and brightened my way.
You are like fever in my blood
a kind of divine craziness,
you amuse me, each day you are news to me.
I see happiness in your darting eyes,
I see hope in your thousand watt smile,
and I find comfort in your warm embrace.
You are such a piece of Art.
Soft as a feather better than ever.
I was hurt, I'm healed cause
I have found someone who understands Love.
