We are encouraged to see people from different parts of Zambia sharing their understanding of triathlon through short videos.

These videos give us an opportunity to learn how triathlon is understood in different communities across Zambia, while also helping us create greater awareness, understanding and appreciation of the sport.

The video below is one such example, presented in Kikaonde. It is a reflection of how triathlon is understood and explained within the community.

We believe that taking triathlon to the people means making the sport accessible, inclusive and understandable to everyone, regardless of where they come from or the language they speak.

Triathlon Zambia Participates in Youth Sports and Arts Townhall Meeting at CBU

Triathlon Zambia represented at the Sport, Youth and Arts Townhall Meeting held on Tuesday at the Copperbelt University (CBU), bringing together sports federations, athletes, coaches and sports administrators from across the Copperbelt Province.

The meeting provided an important platform for stakeholders in the sports sector to engage with relevant authorities and share information on available opportunities in sport, youth and the arts. The gathering also provided an opportunity for federations to learn more about programmes and initiatives aimed at supporting the devel9opment of athletes, coaches and sports organisations.

Triathlon Zambia welcomed the opportunity to be part of the engagement, recognising the importance of collaboration and information sharing in strengthening the sports sector and creating more opportunities for athletes and other stakeholders.

The Federation looks forward to building on the engagements from the meeting and exploring opportunities that can contribute to the continued growth of triathlon and the development of athletes in Zambia.
