At just 16, Kwandokuhle Nkomazana is ready to make his mark on the global stage at the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games! 🌍🏅

Specialising in the 50M Butterfly, the talented Bulawayo swimmer has already made waves, including breaking a 29-year-old Christian Brothers College 50M Backstroke record with a time of 31.00 seconds and earning bronze in the 4x100M Medley Relay at the 2025 Africa Youth Games. 🥉🔥

Now, he carries the hopes of Zimbabwe to Dakar, backed by his determination, talent and relentless pursuit of excellence.

As Stingrays Swimming Academy, we pass our deepest condolences to the Ngwenya family. May God comfort you in this difficult time.

Today, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Onesimus Ngwenya.

There are some young men whose presence leaves a lasting mark on a community. Onesimus was one of them.

He will be remembered not only for the courage he showed throughout his journey, but for the kindness, warmth and gentle spirit that made him so deeply loved by those who knew him. The affection held for Onesimus across the CBC community is a testament to the remarkable young man he was.

Throughout his journey, our College family stood alongside Onesimus and the Ngwenya family with love, hope and prayer. Today, we continue to hold them close in our hearts as we mourn his passing.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. May they find comfort in the love that surrounds them, strength in the memories they will forever treasure, and peace in the knowledge that Onesimus touched the lives of so many.

As a community of faith, we entrust Onesimus to God's loving care and pray that he may rest in eternal peace.

Please keep the Ngwenya family in your prayers.
