The season started with a bang as we took home gold medals for the Bulawayo Volleyball Association Pre Season games.Both genders thrashed their competion to be the top dogs.

2017 Silver medalists UZ Wolves square off against Bulawayo side Nust Vikings in a potential thriller at 0830 hrs.
UZ Wolves will be parading newboys, Opposite/Outside Hitter Keith Machakaire, Middle Blocker Isaac Chokera and Libero Clayton Murere who joined the Wolves early this year from defending Champions Support Unit. UZ Wolves have the edge over fellow Varsity side NUST given their experience regionally and in the continent. Moeketsi, one of the promising talents coming from the BVA, is one of the players to look out for in the Vikings corner.

BLACK RHINOS VS VIKINGS, a potential thriller on the cards.
The two clubs are meeting for the first in the ZVA National League after they both qualified through the playoffs earlier this year. They are no strangers to the National competition, however Rhinos have gone through a lot more than their counterparts. In the finals of the 2018 Zimbabwe Open, and the regional competition, Zone 6 Club Championships over the years. The inclusion of Outside Hitter Tatenda Masawi and promising Middle Blocker Kudakwashe Kandanda Voltron from Harare City, could see the army team challenge for the title.
