The idea is always farming, whether it's aura or opportunities, that has always been the fundermental principle we have shared since day one. Your resilience continues to sharpen our community. You are a mother to the children and a sister to most of us. Keep up the good work.

DAY OF THE AFRICAN CHILD
Today, Chitungwiza Junior Council stands in solidarity with children across Africa as we commemorate the Day of the African Child.
We honour the courageous students of Soweto who, on 16 June 1976, bravely stood up against injustice and fought for their right to quality education. Their sacrifice remains a powerful reminder that every child deserves access to education, protection, participation, and equal opportunities.
As young leaders, we reaffirm our commitment to advocating for children's rights, amplifying young voices, and creating safe spaces where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.
Let us continue to build an Africa where every child is heard, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.
"Today's child, tomorrow's leader."

A proud moment for our producer Blessing Mutsa Ncozana as she brings Trapped to the Alliance Franรงaise screening.
From serving as a Former Junior Councilor for Chitungwiza to championing young voices through film and television, Blessing continues to use storytelling as a tool for dialogue, awareness, and social impact.
Trapped is more than just a film , it is a conversation about the realities many young girls face when religion, culture, and societal pressure force them into futures they never chose.
Join us for this special screening and experience a story that challenges, provokes, and inspires change.
