Rockingham CCC scholarship boy, Andy Tabvura, is now in to his second year at Churchill.
His studies are strong and he is a good scholar. But his cricket is really blossoming. He had a very successful first season in senior cricket (with Gladiators second XI in the Vigne Cup) and has been playing in the First team at Churchill.
He is training nearly every day at St Aidans and is a star of the future!
Keep working hard Andy

CJPL (5)
Zengeza 4. 148/5
Tamuka. 152/8
The Chitungwiza Junior Premier League is back underway and Tamuka caused a major shock by beating perennial finalists Zengeza 4, in a terrific match at St Aidans.
After electing to bat, Zengeza 4 got off to a solid start before they were rocked with the dismissal of star batsman Gael Mugidha for 17.
But that brought Divine Chedewu to the crease, who continued his great form to smash 69 and set an imposing score of 148.
Tamuka faltered in the early stages of their reply and fell to 29/4. But Captain and talismanic allrounder Tinashe Juma stepped up and bludgeoned 71 (from just 46 balls) to set up a very tense finish. With just 8 balls left Leon Svosve struck the winning boundary to seal a memorable victory for Tamuka.
What a great game
Well played boys
Thanks
