The Hillside Park Association is a Constituted non-profit organisation made up of volunteers from the Hillside Community in Harare, Zimbabwe who are passionate about the resuscitation, clean-up and protection of the Hillside Park. The Hillside Park Association works closely with the Environmental Management Agency, City of Harare, ZINWA, Upper-Manyame Sub-Catchment Council, Higherlife Foundation, Spar Zimbabwe, OK Zimbabwe, Harare Wetlands Trust, Bitumen World, Birdlife Zimbabwe, COSMO, Hillside Neighbourhood Watch, Harare Residents Association, Community Based Organisations and many other stakeholders.

The portion of the Mukuvisi River that runs through the Hillside Park is approximately 1.5km and it has unfortunately been exposed to illegal dumping of litter, toxic waste and many different types of alien and invasives plants that need to be removed

The Hillside Park is a wetlands Area. It includes the land that has 1.5km of the Mukuvisi River running through it and this wetland therefore regulates the flow of water from the catchment area into this river. The Mukuvisi River feeds into the Manyame River and Lake Chivero and therefore is an important contributor to Harare's Water Supply
