*NAME* TheDREAMER β’ World-wide Recognized Sports Journalist and Football Columnist is back with Matchday 2 after a pulsating start which saw defending Champs Arsenal showing exactly why they are favorites to reclaim the title and Liverpool needing last minute equalizer to salvage a point at St James Park but it wat Hull City which defied the odds as they run riot against title aspirants Man Utd. To wrap up the top six, Spurs struggle continues after a hammering at Brentford whereas City needed something special to overturn the deficit against a travelling Bournemouth before Chelsea got the better of London rivals to beat Fulham on Alonso's first managerial Job in England. Let's find out more...

Palace π City - Palace needs points here after a pointless visit at Everton. City needed something special but you could notice a whole lot of fragility in their squad. Ismarr Sarr is a doubt which gives the travelling side a boost and Mateta was unlucky at Everton on their first ever chance. It's a tricky contest but good enough to give City the edge to climb to the summit 1-2

Liverpool π Forest | Forest have been difficult to beat at Anfield and with Oliver Glasner on the helm, Liverpool struggled for the very longest. Liverpool are still fragile and their defensive problems seem to be continuing. Forest haven't started the way they anticipated losing twice by identical scorelines to the same opponent in Leeds. They will be desperate to win this one. With both sides possessing attacking prowess n see a high pressing football game producing goals and both teams will not want to lose here 2-2
Bournemouth π Everton | Bournemouth isn't the same after the departure of Andoni Iriola and Everton starting exactly the way they have dreamt off at Hill Dickinson. I will go with Everton here, they were good away from home last season and i expect them to continue 0-1
Coventry π Hull City | Not the start Coventry would have dreamt of, coming against the chnmpions. Now they are coming against a Hull side fresh from beating Man Utd for the first time since 1974 on their backyard. It will take a whole lot of mental preparedness to win this for the Coventry boys. 1-0
Spurs π Castle | Not the start Roberto Di Zerbi would want. Of course the revenge was sweety in Carabao on the first outing for the new boy Savinho. Newcastle were so close to winning it but only an individual error denied them. I expect a good game and hopefully the front crowd will help decide the contest. 3-2
*Sunday 30 Aug 2026*
Chelsea π Brighton | A very good game sitting table toppers Brighton After a rocky solid start. Chelsea needed that much significant lift. Brighton
has been winning this fixture before except for last season only but i just think Chelsea are levels ahead going into this one. I saw the veteran Danny Welbeck rising high for his first in Carabao and i see depth in them with Rodgers alongside Estavao and Palmer 1-2
Leeds π Brentford | Leeds are having a bright start winning against same opponent inside a week. Brentford needed that bright start after edging past a helpless Spurs. Last year i didn't do well. I predicted many losses against Brentford but the truth is, they are the real deal. 1-2
Sunderland π Fulham | A very important game for Sunderland so is Fulham. Two sides coming from losing respective fixtures. The blck Cats here so vulnerable that you could tell of their fragility. Fulham had the worst start but pushed the opponent to the last, something I enjoy every time the Cottagers are playing. I see an away win if all goes well here 0-2
United π Ipswich | This is a very important fixture for the home side after a surprise defeat at Hull. Ipswich were solid from start against Sunderland and the pressing was memorable. However this is a must win if Carrick wants these points at all costs if he wants to win the hearts of many. 3-1
*Monday 31 Aug 2026*
Villa π Arsenal | Villa Will never be the same after selling their best attackers in Rogers and Olli Watkins and now Emiliano Martinez is linked again. Arsenal are a different animal right now and i did enjoy the legendary Tzolis. What a replacement for Trossard and no Martinelli and Jesus, not a problem. Villa will have to endure a torrid start here 1-3
