We had an amazing time at the Round table talk— sharing strategies for female athletes on the road to LA2028, stories, challenges, and hope for the future of girls in sport.

“As the founder of Girls Play Cricket Academy, I had the honour of speaking alongside powerful women leaders including the Deputy Minister of Sports Hon. Emily Jesaya, U.S. Ambassador - H.E. Pamela Tremont, Director os Sports in the Ministry of Sports, Recreation, Arts and Culture Dr Chidakwa, and ZOC CEO - Marlene Gadzirayi.”

“When we empower girls through sport, we unlock leadership, purpose, and potential.”

Together, we’re building a future where young girls have the confidence and opportunity to lead—on and off the pitch.

Congratulations to Honorable Kirsty Coventry, New IOC President.

Girls Play Cricket Academy (GPCA) proudly celebrates Kirsty on her historic election as the President of the IOC.

As a trailblazer in sport and leadership, Kirsty continues to inspire young athletes, especially girls, to dream big and break barriers. Her dedication to excellence, both in and out of the pool, has paved the way for generations of female athletes in Zimbabwe and beyond.

We look forward to seeing her champion the future of global sports, and we are excited about what this means for women’s sport and the Olympic movement.
