Match Day: Zimbabwe vs South Africa 🇿🇼🔥

It’s derby day.

Zimbabwe take on our neighbours, the South Africa national cricket team, in what may be labelled a “dead rubber” — but make no mistake, there is nothing dead about this contest.

This is pride.
This is rivalry.
This is Southern Africa.

The boys have already shown heart in this tournament. From defying expectations to reaching the Super 8, Zimbabwe have proven that they belong on this stage. Every game has been a lesson. Every match has built character.

Today is about finishing strong.

It’s about carrying the momentum forward. It’s about playing with freedom, backing our talent, and showing the cricket world that Zimbabwe’s rise is not a fluke — it’s the beginning of something real.

Against a powerful South African side, the challenge is massive. But so is the opportunity.

One last push.
One last fight.
One nation behind the team.

Let’s believe. 🇿🇼💪

Zimbabwe Fall to India — But Brian Bennett Stands Tall

It was another tough outing for Zimbabwe as they went down to the mighty India national cricket team today. The result may not have gone our way, but there were powerful positives to take from the performance.

Step forward Brian Bennett.

In a match where pressure was high and expectations even higher, Bennett delivered a remarkable batting display — composed, fearless, and full of intent. Against one of the world’s strongest bowling attacks, he showed maturity beyond his years and reminded everyone why Zimbabwe’s future is in safe hands.

Yes, the defeat stings. But context matters.

Zimbabwe were never tipped to make it this far in the competition. Yet here we are — competing in the Super 8, testing ourselves against the very best. That is growth. That is progress. That is belief turning into performance.

Now one final chapter remains — a so-called “dead rubber” against our neighbours, the South Africa national cricket team.

Dead rubber? Not for us.

There is pride on the line. Regional bragging rights. Momentum to carry forward. And another opportunity for our young stars to step up and make a statement.

The results may not have favoured us in the Super 8, but the experience gained is priceless.

We continue to learn.
We continue to grow.
We continue to believe.

One more push. 🇿🇼🔥

Zimbabwe Fall to West Indies — But the Dream Is Still Alive

Zimbabwe’s Super 8 journey hit a setback after a tough loss to the West Indies cricket team, but perspective is everything.

Let’s be honest — before this tournament began, very few people gave Zimbabwe a realistic chance of even reaching the Super 8. Yet here we are. Competing. Fighting. Representing. That alone is a statement. That alone is progress.

The defeat hurts, yes. There were moments that could have shifted the game. Chances created. Opportunities missed. Fine margins that separate victory from heartbreak at this level.

One of those moments involved Tashinga Musekiwa. The dropped catches were painful. The duck with the bat was frustrating. But cricket is a cruel game sometimes. It can turn heroes into headline targets in a single session.

What we must not do as fans is turn on our own.

Musekiwa has shown fight, passion, and commitment throughout this campaign. One tough night does not define a player. Every cricketer — even the greats — has had games they wish they could replay. That is part of sport.

Zimbabwe reaching the Super 8 was not luck. It was belief. It was discipline. It was teamwork. It was growth.

Now the focus shifts to the next challenge — a massive clash against India national cricket team. Another opportunity. Another stage. Another chance to show heart.

The boys have already exceeded expectations. Now they play with freedom. No fear. Nothing to lose. Everything to gain.

We back them in victory. We back them in defeat.
The journey continues. 🇿🇼🔥

🔥 SUPER 8 – HERE WE GO! 🔥

Zimbabwe begin their Super 8 campaign with a massive showdown against the mighty West Indies — or as we call them… Marasta 🇿🇼🔥🇯🇲

After topping the group stages unbeaten and showing serious character, grit and belief, the boys now step into the next chapter. This is where reputations are tested. This is where legends are made.

The West Indies bring power, flair and that Caribbean confidence — but Zimbabwe bring heart, discipline and a nation that believes. 💪🏽

This is more than just a game.
It’s a statement.
It’s about proving we belong at this level.
It’s about continuing the momentum.

We’ve already shocked a few people.
Now it’s time to shake the tournament.

To the boys in red — stay fearless, stay united, and play for that badge. 🇿🇼

Super 8.
New challenge.
Same hunger.
