Southern Aces Volleyball Club

This is Joan, our Welfare Manager, who joined us this year. She has already brought great energy, care, and dedication to the team. We are excited to have her as part of our family and look forward to achieving more together.

Introducing the captain of Southern Aces Volleyball Club, Anesu “Shayclan” Manyoni, a talented outside hitter known for her energy, leadership, and determination on the court. With her powerful attacks and never-give-up spirit, she continues to inspire her teammates every match day. Shayclan leads by example and remains a key player in the growth and success of Southern Aces Volleyball Club.

The log standings for the Premier League are out after the first game week, and we are currently sitting in third position. We are proud of the start the team has made and the hard work shown on the court. Now we shift our focus and prepare for the next fixtures ahead.

The ladies fought a good fight in Bulawayo, securing a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Chimoio Volleyball Club and a 3-1 win over Diamonds. It is never easy to collect victories away from home, but the girls showed great character and made the fans proud with their outstanding performances. Keep training hard ladies for the coming fixtures, the journey continues.

This is our squad traveling to Bulawayo ahead of our weekend Premier League fixture. The team is focused, prepared, and ready to give their best on the court as they represent the club with pride. We wish the ladies a safe journey and all the best for the matches ahead.

This weekend marks our very first Premier League games at Hillside Teachers College Volleyball Courts, Bulawayo, and the excitement is building as the ladies prepare to take on the challenge. The team has trained hard, stayed focused, and is fully prepared to represent Masvingo with pride and determination. Let us all come through in numbers to support the girls and cheer them on as they begin this historic journey in the Premier League.

Southern Aces Volleyball Club has been promoted to the Premier League for the 2026 season after displaying outstanding performances throughout the campaign. The team has been in excellent form, showing determination, teamwork, and great passion on the court. We wish the team all the best as they prepare to compete in the Premier League and continue making their supporters proud. Midlands Volleyball Association has announced its MIDVA Independence Volleyball Tournament Dream Team for 2026. Southern Aces Volleyball Club dominated the selections with outstanding performances throughout the tournament. Congratulations to all players who earned individual awards—your hard work has truly paid off.
