Are you ready for the stunning views along the Batoka Gorge that go hand in hand with Zambezi Cycle Challenge?
Not too long to go. And it is shaping up to be an incredible event. The field is looking fantastic. If you know of people still wanting to enter, please tell them to get their entries in now - we are nearing the cut off point.
Don't forget to factor in a bit of time to see our beautiful wonder of the world. There has been so much rain around this year and the Falls are currently pumping at a very high volume. They will be beautiful to see when you are here.

Registration is open and going well.
Please feel free to download this flyer and circulate it to anyone you think might be interested in joining this years event.
We know some of you have taken part in events lately - Cape Epic, Matopos Heritage ( the incredible rainfall making this event challenging in many more ways than normal) , etc. Huge congratulations to you all for completeing those. We would love to hear about them from you in the comments.
July will be here sooner than we realise - so get on those bikes and get training.

Training rides in Vic Falls look a little different.
How incredible is this sighting while out for a ride?
A pack of Wild dogs near Victoria Falls on our bike ride this morning! What a treat!

Registration is open and they are coming in fast and furiously.
Be sure to get yours in early to avoid disappointment. Places are limited.
We cannot wait to see your smiling ( and occasionally grimacing) faces again. July will be here in the blink of an eye so get back on your bikes and start training.
A reminder - July is high season here in Vic Falls so accommodation is not always easy to come by. We will keep adding some options onto the website and whatsapp groups for you to consider. Be sure to get those bookings in early ( we know some of you already booked as soon as dates were released last year)
Ilala is already fully booked, but can waitlist.
N1 still has space and is close to Ilala ( accom does not provide breakfast).
Miombo is a great self catering option.
Bhejane Lodge ( next to Batonka Guest Lodge) has been added as an option.
Details about The Shrub will be added later today so keep an eye on the accommodation page.

We are so thrilled with all the wonderful feedback we are getting abou the 2025 challenge.
A large part of that was due to these incredible people who gave up of their time to be out there to marshal, protect, guide and encourage you all as you made your way through the tracks.
All the Scouts, horses, marshals and motorbikes are there on a volantary basis - and we are so appreciative of them all, and of the fabulous work they do out there.
Alison and her team on horseback ( IMPI - the mounted anti poaching patrol) covered huge areas over the course of 3 days in hot conditons. And thanks to them we knew where the elephant and buffalo were at all times.
The team from Victoria Falls Anti Poaching Unit and Keith and team from Wild Horizons Anti Poaching were also brilliant at making sure our riders were safe - and helping direct the riders along the way.
The 5 Marshal points each day - making sure all riders were safe and accounted for, shouting encouragement, feeding and watering those who needed it and being our eyes on the ground.
Thanks to the members of Round Table 7 - Victoria Falls - Zimbabwe, Shelley Cox, Nick Milne, Calla, Tara, Adam and Oli Barnard, Lousie, Laura, Alex, Brent, Bongani, Garth Pritchard , Duncan Cu***ng, and Anthea ( who found herself picking up and dropping off people each and every day)......You were all amazing.
Thanks to Ryan ( our Botwana Import), Kevin and Nathan for being our sweepers on the bikes.
And to Courtney, Sandra, and Sue from Children in the Wilderness - for coordinating and helping each and every day ( and special mention to our chief cheerleader Sandra).
And to Roger and his team of volunteers who spent a few hours herding elephants off the cycle tracks on day one.
We love that the marshaling is made up of so many members of our wonderful community - including so many kids who love being out there and "helping")
