🏆 2026 AWARD WINNERS

As we look back on another huge season at the Rams, we want to celebrate some of the people who give so much to our club behind the scenes — and on the field.

These awards recognise dedication, willingness to help, pride in the Rams and the people who go above and beyond to make our club what it is.

❤️ Senior Club Person of the Year — Kayla Butler

For the past three years, Kayla has been an incredibly hardworking and dedicated member of the Abermain Rams.
From ordering canteen stock and organising new merchandise, to filling lolly bags, shopping for supplies and keeping the canteen fully stocked — Kayla genuinely cares about our club and is always willing to do whatever is needed to improve and enhance the Rams. We are so lucky to have her!

🖤 Junior Club Person of the Year — Travis Koshoorn

Travis is a young man who is always ready to lend a hand.
Whether he is helping mark the lines, setting up and packing away, refereeing an extra game or assisting at away games, Travis is always willing to help wherever he can.
His dedication and immense pride in the Abermain Rams make him a very deserving recipient of this award.

🤍 Game Leader Appreciation Award — Chloe O’Neill

It is not easy to step onto a field and officiate games involving participants who are not much younger than you.
At just nine years of age, Chloe completed her Game Leader Course and has impressed both our own coaches and visiting coaches.
Many coaches have taken the time to comment on her calm and fair manner while guiding players around the field, as well as the enthusiasm she brings to the role.

A fantastic young Game Leader and a wonderful example of our next generation of Rams!

Congratulations Kayla, Travis and Chloe!

Thank you for everything you do for the Abermain Rams. Our club is better because of people like you. ❤️🖤🤍

PRESENTATION DAY — WHAT A DAY! ❤️🖤🤍

After a week of recovery, we thought it was time to look back at what was such a fantastic Presentation Day!

The weather was absolutely perfect, the kids had a ball, and it was so great to see everyone coming together to celebrate another huge season for the Rams.

A massive thank you to everyone who jumped in to help with set-up, pack-down, running activities, serving food, organising trophies and everything in between.

These days take a village, and we genuinely could not have done it without you! ️

More photos from the day to come… because there are FAR too many good ones to keep to ourselves! 📸😂

Rams family — you really are something special.

AND WE HAVE OUR RAFFLE WINNERS!

A huge congratulations to everyone who took home a prize in our 2026 Major Raffle!

If your name is listed below, please reach out to us via Messenger so we can arrange your prize. If we don’t hear from you, don’t worry — we’ll be in touch over the next couple of days.

A MASSIVE thank you to all of our incredible sponsors and businesses who donated prizes this year. We had a record year for both donations AND ticket sales, and we honestly couldn’t have done it without your generosity and support.

And finally, thank you to every single person who bought a ticket, shared the raffle, encouraged others to get involved and supported our club.

Every dollar raised will help us keep costs as low as possible for our Rams families next season.

This raffle has been a huge success, and it’s all thanks to our amazing Rams community.

Congratulations to our winners — and thank you again to everyone who supported us!

Today is R U OK? Day — but checking in with the people around us shouldn’t be something we do just once a year.

R U OK? Any Day.

At Abermain Rams, we’re more than just a football club. We’re a community — teammates, coaches, managers, parents, volunteers, siblings, friends and supporters.

We never really know what someone else might be going through. Behind the smile, the football game, the busy sideline or the “I’m good” could be someone who simply needs a conversation, a little support or someone to listen.

So don't wait for R U OK? Day.

Ask the question any day.
Take the time to listen.
Keep the conversation going.
Check in again tomorrow.

It could be a teammate you haven’t seen for a while, a parent standing beside you on the sideline, a coach who seems a little quieter than usual, or a friend who just doesn’t seem themselves.

Because Rams spirit isn't just about supporting each other on the field — it's about looking out for our Rams family every day. ❤️🖤
