Oh What A Night!

What a way to kick off our 2026/27 season with our first Club Night of the year!

The energy was high! The vibes were rocking! And the racing was outstanding! Some big PBs were produced tonight showing off all the hard work from the epic pre season training they have all been doing!

We had the pleasure of announcing our Club Captains for season 2026/27 - Addison and Harpa. Very deserving ladies! We are confident you will serve our club with distinction and pride!

We also had the opportunity of unveiling our newest club position - the Junior Mentor. This position goes to the individual who's role is to really encourage and inspire our junior swimmers to produce their best performances be it at training or on race day. The Junior Mentor will help guide our young Octopi thru all the challenges swimming may present to help keep them in the sport. So it is with great pleasure that we announce the first Junior Mentor will be our former Club Captain, Shaylee!

Well done to all the swimmers tonight especially the recipients of the trophies and chocolates.

Next up is the open water swim on Sunday followed by the Cannonvale Cannons Swimming Club Winter Short Course next weekend!

If you hav'nt heard Rackley will be taking on the Leases at Long Tan and Kokoda pools from 1 July.
To get up to date information on revised session times and arrangements at these venues please register below, so you can be added to thier mailing list to hit the ground running from 1 July.

A big shout out to Euan Roberts for completing the Cairns IRONMAN last weekend. 🏊‍♂️🚲🏃‍♂️
Coming in 28th from the 18-24yr old group is an amazing achievement.🌟
Lots of big effort and training, combined with his studies, and other contributions to various sporting clubs.
A priviledge having you as part of the Gardens Swimming Club team. An inspiration to many.👏👏👏
