Good luck to our Victorian athletes competing at the 2026 U19 World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria from August 6-9th.

These two young athletes will be accompanied by their coach Will Achermann.

U23 stars in Duisburg! 💪🇦🇺

We saw a standout performance from Susannah Lutze who led from start to finish to claim Gold in the Women’s PR3 Single Scull and a World Best Time! 🤩

The Men’s Eight raced in the A Final, falling just short of the podium.

The Women’s Four and Men’s Quad raced in the B-finals with tight competition in each race.

The Australian U23 team finished fourth on the medal table behind Greece, USA and Great Britain. The team won three Gold Medals and two silver medals. An outstanding result for the team.

Well done to all who competed at the recent Australian Masters Rowing Championships at Champion Lakes, Western Australia. 👏

It was a fantastic overall performance from our Victorian Masters Team, with our Women’s Quad the highlight, claiming their 9th consecutive win! ⭐️

Special mention to Melbourne Rowing Club for dominating the Club Point Score, with Melbourne University (3rd), Yarra Yarra (4th), Carrum (5th), & Corio Bay (7th) also finishing in the top 🔟!

We also saw strong individual performances, with Victorians taking out both Champion of Champions races, as well as 4 placing in the top 10 of the Athlete Point Score.

9 Victorians in action this weekend! 🔥

Vics tough it out at OTRC 💪

Our Victorian U22 Team braved challenging conditions at Wyaralong Dam over the weekend, showing plenty of grit and resilience across both days of racing.

Representing the Big White V against five other teams, Victoria finished 3rd in the overall point score and 5th in the sculling point score. 🥉

Congratulations to New Zealand North Island and ACT for claiming the Rusty Robertson and Noel Donaldson trophies respectively.

We also saw a feature from Victorians Tom Foley & Winston Hooper, racing by invitation on Day 2 with the Australian U23 sweep squad. 🔥

Well done to our athletes, coaches and supporters for their efforts throughout the regatta, and thank you to Rowing Queensland for their organising efforts. 👏

We look forward to seeing what 2027 brings… hopefully with some flat water this time! 😅
