The much loved Neale Daniher has passed away today from MND.

Thoughts are with his immediate and extended families... such an inspiration who will be sadly missed but long remembered!

It is with deep and great sadness that we share tragic news affecting one of our lovely Gymsports gymnasts.

Following a road trauma incident last week, Annabella Elliot, one of Andrew's Sonics gymnasts, and Eliza-Jane's sister (Halos), has sadly passed away. Over the past week, Dad Paul, Mum Nicky and Sister Eliza-Jane, have stayed by Annabella's side at the Royal Children's Hospital, praying for a positive outcome. Tragically, at just under13 years of age, Annabella has passed away.

As a team here at Gymsports, we hold Paul, Nicky and Eliza-Jane in our hearts and thoughts, we offer them our heart felt compassion during this incredibly difficult time.

This program is designed for gymnasts who show remarkable potential and a commitment to elevating their skills. We're incredibly proud of their achievement and can't wait to see what's in store for them.

The Get Active Kids Voucher Program is now open!

We are pleased to let you know that we are a Get Active Kids Voucher Program Activity Provider and Round 10 is open! Get in quick as applications for a voucher will close at 10am on 2 April or earlier if the budget allocation is fully exhausted.

If your family or child has a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, you may be eligible for up to $200 to put towards the cost of your child’s registration and membership fees at Ballarat Gymsports.

Important Dates:
Round 10 open to apply for a voucher or reimbursement: 10am Tuesday, 3 March 2026 and will close 10am on 2 April or earlier if the budget allocation is fully exhausted.

Vouchers expiry date: Wednesday, 29 April 2026.

Apply now at www.getactive.vic.gov.au/vouchers to have your voucher emailed to you. Send us through your voucher code when receive it and we will take up to $200 off the registration and membership fee (as well as any included uniforms and/or equipment).

Tip: Be sure to select us as your Activity Provider. We are listed as Ballarat Gymsports and our Get Active Kids Voucher Program number is 3152861.

If you have already paid for your child’s activity, you will receive the full value sent through as a credit.

Special consideration applies for children residing in care services as well as temporary or provisional visa holders, undocumented migrants or international students.

Last Saturday night this awesome group of people attended the Gymnastics Victoria 2025 Gala Awards night at MSAC in Melbourne.

The night was about celebrating everything Gymnastics in Victoria... the Gymnasts, the Coaches, the Officials, the Volunteers and the projects.

It was an amazing night with so many people and opportunities to reconnect and connect with so many like minded people. We even picked up an Award, so super stoked and proud!

Friday 30/01 - UPDATE - CLASSES CANCELLED

1pm UPDATE:
Temperatures are still tipped by the BOM to reach 36C, with potential higher temps inside. It has been decided that to ensure our staff, participants and families are not subjected to heat stress and associated issues, not only whilst training but travelling, the following advice is issued:

ALL Afternoon classes (4pm onwards) - Recreational and Competitive, have been cancelled. Affected Recreational families will receive an SMS confirming this advice. Competitive families will receive an SMS advising of an email with alternative arrangements. Once again we sincerely apologise for this, especially in the first week back. All affected families will have their accounts updated.

Please take care and keep your fluid intact up throughout the day.
