Meet Peta from the Alice Springs Touch Association!

Peta is keeping Touch Football on the move as Sport Coordinator. We tagged her in for a quick Q&A so you can get to know her a little better:

🤔 What is your favourite Position to play?
Link, it's the best position on the field

🤔 Do you prefer attack or defence?
Defence, I like being able to analysis the play as it unfolds.

🤔 Fast Paced or Structured play?
Both are as equally important, you need the structure for set plays, but everyone loves a breakaway try.

🤔 How old do you need to be to participate in the 2026 Alice Springs Masters Games?
You only need to be 25 to participate in Touch.

🤔 What makes Touch Football in Alice Springs such a unique experience?
I love touch in the Alice, the community we have all created is the best. These last couple years I’ve really enjoyed playing with my family and bringing my oldest boy into the game. But the most unique thing is the beautiful view we have of the Mac ranges, can’t beat it!
