TRAIN LIKE STORM - TERM 4 ENROLMENTS OPEN

Sometimes getting better means stepping outside your usual training environment.

Train Like Storm brings athletes from different clubs together to train, learn and challenge themselves alongside players they might usually only see on the other side of the court.

Different training partners bring different movement, different combinations and different challenges.

You might need to learn how a new shooter likes to receive the ball, adjust to the timing of a different defender, communicate with someone you’ve never played alongside before or find another option when your usual combination isn’t there.

That’s all part of developing your game awareness and becoming an athlete who can adapt to what is happening around you.

And while you’re doing it, you might make some new friends along the way.

Open to athletes born 2007–2012 who have played in 15&U, 17&U or Seniors this year.

Alice Springs // Pat Gallagher Netball Centre // Fridays 3:30–5:00pm

CONGRATULATIONS GABBY | 2027 BLACK SWANS

A huge congratulations to Gabby Coffey, who has been named in the 2027 First Nations Black Swans squad!

Gabby proudly represented the Northern Territory at last week’s First Nations Tournament in Melbourne, delivering an outstanding performance across the five days of competition.

Now, the Wiradjuri athlete has been selected among 20 athletes from across Australia for the 2027 Black Swans squad.

We’re incredibly proud to see Gabby continue to represent the Territory and progress through the national First Nations pathway.

Congratulations, Gabby – we can’t wait to see what comes next!

Congratulations Annie, Kaissara, Kiera, Keeley, Gabby, and Ruby!

These ladies represented the NT in the First Nations Tournament Wednesday 16 September to Sunday 20 September.

The tournament was held on Wurundjeri Country at Victoria’s home of netball, Parkville’s State Netball Centre.

The Northern Territory First Nations Team has returned from Melbourne after a week that saw a young Territory side grow in confidence, strengthen its combinations, and build lasting connections on and off the court.

With six athletes making their NT debut and three aged 16 or younger, the tournament provided valuable national competition experience for the group.

From building connections across the court to finishing the tournament with a 30–19 victory over the ACT, there was plenty of progress across the five days – and plenty to build on for the future of the NT First Nations program.

Want to be part of the Northern Territory’s journey to the 2027 National Netball Championships? Netball NT is seeking nominations for team officials to work with our 17U and 19U representative teams.

Our team officials play an important role throughout the representative program, from athlete trials and selection through to training, preparation and the National Netball Championships in Melbourne.
