Altona Beach parkrun

Thank you for patiently waiting for your results to hit your inbox. Friendly reminder the event team are also volunteers and do their best to deliver an efficient parkrun and sometimes there can be delays. If there are concerns or issues with results we typically post an update here ☺️, but rest assured they will eventually hit your inbox. We appreciate the kindness and patience.

This week 179 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 35 were first timers and 21 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 11 different clubs took part.

The event was made possible by 10 volunteers:

As mentioned on Saturday (and every other run brief) we are in need of volunteers to make the magic happen.
As you can see our future roster is looking a little sad with high numbers of core vacancies.

We had a very special milestone on the weekend with father and son both hitting their 100th parkrun!

You too can work towards your milestones each Saturday by doing your parkrun and/or volunteering.
We need many core positions to be filled for this weekend if you’d like to add another volunteer credit to your stats.

This week 153 people ran, jogged, and walked the course in absolutely perfect conditions. 20 were first timers, 20 PB’s were recorded, and the numbers were made up by participants from 7 different clubs.

We love meeting new people and our RD’s are an amazing bunch to get to volunteer with who will give training and help on the day if you’re unsure of a role.
