🏆 ANGASTON PANTHERS — GRAND FINAL RESULTS 🏆
Sunday 13th September | The Rex

What a day for the Angaston Panthers! Five teams on the Grand Final stage and two premierships coming home, an incredible finish to the 2026 season!

U14 Boys B1 — Panthers Blue 40 def. TBC Takers 27 🏆
The B1s set the tone for the day with a dominant display, running away with a 13-point win over the Takers. They've been one of the teams of the season and saved their best for the biggest stage. Premiers!

U14 Boys B2 — Panthers Blue 31 def. by Echoes Dark 39
The B2's fought hard but Echoes Dark were too good on the day. Nothing to hang their heads about — making a Grand Final is a massive achievement and these boys gave it everything.

U18 Boys — Panthers 47 def. Tigers 41 🏆
The U18s got the job done in a tight one, holding off the Tigers by six points. A gutsy, composed performance under Grand Final pressure. Premiers!

B Women Blue — Panthers Blue 20 def. by Bulldogs 41
A tough one for the B Women Blue, who ran into a fired-up Bulldogs outfit in the Grand Final. After that gutsy two-point win in Round 1 to go straight through, the girls can hold their heads high for a brilliant finals campaign and a fantastic season.

A Men — Panthers 42 def. by Predators 73
The Predators proved too strong in the main event, and the A Men's incredible finals run came to an end. After that magical one-point comeback in Round 1, this group has nothing to be disappointed about — they left it all out there this finals series.

Two flags, five Grand Final appearances, and a club full of talent from the juniors right through to the seniors. What a season, Panthers!

Sunday 13th September | The Rex

This is what we've been working for all season. Five Angaston Panthers teams will take the court on Grand Final Sunday, and we need every fan down at The Rex to bring the noise.

U14 Boys C3 — Panthers vs Echoes Dark | 10:30am, Court 2
Our morning tips off with the B2s on Court 2 after grinding through the finals the long way to book their spot. Time to finish the job!

U14 Boys B1 — Panthers vs TBC Takers | 11:30am, Court 1
Next, the U14 B1s, who earned their Grand Final spot with a dominant 12-point win in Round 1. The Takers will be out for revenge — expect a cracker between the two form teams of the winter!

U18 Boys — Panthers vs Tigers | 2:00pm, Court 2
The U18s took control vs the Tigers by 23 points in Round 1, but finals are a different beast and the Tigers are back after a big Prelim W. The boys will be locked in and ready to go!

B Women Blue — Panthers Blue vs Bulldogs | 3:00pm, Court 2
The B Women Blue gutted out a two-point win over the Bulldogs in Round 1 to go straight through to the big dance. This could be another arm-wrestle — every possession will matter!

A Men — Panthers vs Predators | 5:00pm, Court 1
The headline act. The A Men pulled off the comeback of the finals in Round 1 and have their sights on the Big W! Predators are a quality outfit — this one's going to be a battle under the lights.

Five teams. Five chances at a flag. Be there.

🏀 Finals - Round 2 Recap 🏀

Three junior teams took the court for Round 2, and while it was the end of the road for our U12s, there was plenty to celebrate.

U12 Boys B1 — Panthers 34 def. by Echoes Light 43
The B1s gave it everything in the Preliminary Final but Echoes Light were too strong on the night. Despite not getting the win, this group played with determination and grit well above their years throughout the finals series. A terrific season - making finals is something to be really proud of. Well done boys!

U12 Boys B2 — Panthers 13 def. by Magic Green 49
Magic Green proved a bridge too far in the Prelim, bringing the B2s' season also to a close. These lads have had a brilliant year and should walk away with their heads held high. Great effort all season!

U14 Boys C3 — Panthers 41 def. Magic Black 32
The C3s put in a quality performance to get the job done against Magic Black by nine points. A composed and clinical effort when it counted.

Season done for both U12 sides — give those kids a huge wrap, they've been fantastic. Eyes now turn to Grand Final Sunday on September 13th at The Rex. Let's pack the stands, bring the noise and get behind our Panthers! 💙🤍

Join us for our Junior Presentation Night as we wrap up another fantastic Winter season and recognise the effort, improvement and achievements of all our junior players.

🏀 JUNIORS - FINALS WEEK 1 RECAP🏀

Finals basketball is here, and our junior Panthers came out swinging in Round 1 with three wins from six games across the age groups.

U12 Boys B1 — Panthers 47 def. by TBC Takers 62
A tough match against a strong Takers outfit, but the B1s never stopped competing. They've earned another bite at the cherry with a Preliminary Final this week — time to reload and go again!

U12 Boys B2 — Panthers 28 def. by Bulldogs 56
The B2s gave it a real crack against a quality Bulldogs side and can hold their heads high. The great news is they get another shot — Preliminary Final this week, and anything can happen in finals!

U14 Boys B1 — Panthers 53 def. TBC Takers 41
The U14 B1s meant business from the start, putting the Takers away with a commanding 12-point win. A confident performance that earns them a spot straight through to the Grand Final on Sunday September 13th.

U14 Boys B2 — Panthers 68 def. Echoes Light 45
The B2s were even more emphatic, running away with a 23-point victory over Echoes Light. Dominant from start to finish, and they too go straight through to the Grand Final.

U16 Boys B1 — Panthers 31 def. by Magic 59
Magic proved too strong in the semi, and unfortunately that brings the U16s' season to a close. Making finals is no small feat though, and the boys should hold their heads high for a great year.

U18 Boys — Panthers 68 def. Tigers 45
The U18s capped off the night in style, cruising to a big win over the Tigers. A polished effort that books them a spot straight through to the Grand Final on Sunday September 13th.

Coaches, TM’s and Parents, we strongly encourage you all to attend one of the available session, form closes tonight to register for one very informative information session.

🏀🏀Summer Season 2026-27 🏀🏀
🏀🏀Big changes are coming!🏀🏀
With some major changes coming to the rules of the game, as well as the terminologies used, to assist in educating everyone (coaching staff, players & spectators) with the changes, Barossa Basketball will be running a total of four (4) ‘Info Sessions’ before the Summer Season begins.
These sessions will not only cover the FIBA changes, but also to all that will be happening going into Summer Season, including the use of a shot clock for the first time in our local competitions (Under 16 & 18 Division 1 only), as well as a heap of information relating to the rules of the game, how the referees are then taught to call the game, and extras like BA’s ‘No Zone’ and the Barossa’s ‘Hands Off Defence’!

🏀 Seniors — Finals Week 1 Recap🏀

Monday night at The Rex was an electric start to finals for the Panthers, with both senior teams grinding out gutsy wins to kick off Finals in style.

A Men — Panthers 56 def. Echoes Dark 55
The A Men left it late on Court 1, trailing deep into the final quarter before digging in and pulling off a stunning one-point comeback against Echoes Dark. It looked like it might slip away, but the Panthers found another gear when it mattered most and snatched the win right at the death. They now face Echoes Light in the preliminary final next Monday night.

B Women Blue — Panthers 35 def. Bulldogs B 33
Over on Court 3 the B Women Blue had an equally tense battle, edging out Bulldogs by two points in a low-scoring, defensive arm-wrestle. Neither side gave an inch all game, and it came down to who wanted it more in the closing minutes. The Panthers held their nerve to grind out the win and book themselves a spot straight through to the Grand Final on Sunday September 13th at The Rex. That's a massive reward for a great season — get down there and pack the stands to cheer the girls home!
