After eight outstanding days of competition on the Gold Coast at the Australian Age Nationals, our six incredible swimmers—Astrid Buchanan, Ava Candy, Blake Scott, Ella Matters, Hannah Buchanan, and Thomas Costello—delivered beyond expectations and conducted themselves with determination and pride throughout.
With multiple finals appearances, top-five finishes in Australian Age Swimming A Finals, and personal bests achieved across the team, we leave the 2026 Nationals feeling proud and excited for what 2027 will bring.
A massive thank you goes to Head Coach Jan, our team managers, and all the families for their unwavering commitment and support.

On the 8th and final day of competition at the Gold Coast's Australian Age Nationals, Ava Candy has done it again in the 100m Butterfly! She powered through her heat with an incredible swim, earning her place in tonight’s A Final at 6 PM. Don’t miss it—tune in to 9NOW and cheer on our BSC star as she gives it her all!

Over halfway through Age Nationals and so many memorable experiences made. Our Swimmers have done so well in the pool from A Finals to many PBs on the big stage. We have enjoyed the sunshine going to Top Golf and a few Yo-Chi visits. ❤️🖤🤍 With three days to go, our swimmers still have more to give. Make sure to tune in to 9NOW a cheer them on.
