🏑 It's the moments in between that stay with us

As we look back through some of our favourite photos from Semi Final weekend, we're reminded that hockey is about so much more than the final score.

It's the teammates who lift each other up, the families cheering from the sideline, the volunteers who quietly make every game possible, and the officials who give their time each week so our competitions can thrive.

These moments capture the spirit of our community. One built on respect, friendship, competition and a shared love of the game.

Thank you to everyone who played a part throughout the season. Whether you were on the field, behind the whistle, in the canteen, on the sideline or supporting from the stands, you helped make another memorable year for Bathurst Hockey.

Enjoy another look back at some of the moments that brought our community together. 💙💚🏑 Stay tuned for more photos - Thanks Greer Films

Some moments can't be explained. They have to be felt.

The intensity of the contest.
The precision of every touch.
The courage to take on your opponent.
The split-second decisions that change everything.

🌻 SUNFLOWER ROUND IS HERE! 🌻

From 24–26 July, we're inviting our entire hockey community to wear a splash of colour in support of a cause close to your heart.
Whether it's blue, pink, yellow, purple, green, or another colour that means something to you, let's fill our fields with colour while supporting Bathurst's Daffodil Cottage and the incredible work they do for local families.

💛 Every donation made across the weekend will go directly to Bathurst's Daffodil Cottage.
Bring your colour, support a great cause, and let's show what our hockey community is all about—coming together for something bigger than the game.

🌻 Sunflower Round | 24–26 July 📍 Donations supporting Bathurst's Daffodil Cottage 💛 Wear your colour. Play with purpose. Support our community.

🏑 Community. Connection. Hockey. 🏑

Over the past few weeks we've seen plenty of great moments around the turf. Players developing new skills, teams building confidence, volunteers giving their time, and our hockey community continuing to grow.

These are the moments that make Bathurst Hockey special.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributes to our game, whether you're on the field, on the sideline, behind the whistle or helping behind the scenes.

We're looking forward to seeing everyone back under lights on Friday night and back at the fields on Saturday for another great weekend of hockey.

Please note there will be no Women's 1st Grade fixture this Sunday due to the general bye weekend.

Enjoy some of our favorite moments from the past few weeks and tag someone you spot in the photos 💙

💛 Vale Mandy Griffiths 💛

Bathurst Hockey Association extends its sincere condolences to Mandy's family, friends and the South Bathurst Hockey Club community.

Mandy's kindness, dedication and love for hockey touched many across our association, and her contribution to our community will be remembered by generations of players, volunteers and families. Smiling Warrior reached beyond our association to many others.

This weekend, we invite players from all clubs to wear a splash of yellow in Mandy's honour. Yellow ribbons and tape will be available at the fields (and dugouts) for anyone wishing to take part.

A celebration of Mandy's life will be held on Monday, 22 June.

Forever part of our hockey family. 🌻🏑💛

🏑 We Hosted the PSSA! 🏑
Over the 18th-21st of May, Bathurst Hockey was proud to host the NSW PSSA Hockey Championships, welcoming teams, teachers, coaches, players, officials, and families from across the state.

Despite some wet and chilly conditions, our volunteers once again showed what makes Bathurst Hockey special. The positive feedback received throughout the week about our facilities, organisation, and welcoming community was something we should all be proud of.

A huge thank you to every volunteer, official, and supporter who helped make the event such a success. 💚 A special shout out must also go to our incredible canteen crew. From early starts to long days, they kept players, officials, volunteers, and supporters fuelled throughout the week. Your hard work behind the scenes never goes unnoticed and is such an important part of events like these. 👏☕

Bathurst Hockey continues to prove why we're one of the preferred regional venues in NSW.

👏 Well done, team.
💚 Thank you for being part of a fantastic week of hockey.
