Anthony Masters, you superstar! 🌟

A huge congratulations to Anthony Masters, who celebrated another HOLE IN ONE on Friday on Hole 16, in the company of our very own Kris Mueck and Frankie Niall!

And when we say another, we mean it! Rumour has it this is Anthony's 8th Hole in One, with 3 of those coming in competition! 🤯👏

But wait… he wasn't finished there!

Anthony backed it up with an EAGLE on Hole 17! 🦅⛳ Now that's what we call finishing a round in style!

Seriously Anthony, don't you think it's time to share a few of those Hole in Ones around with us mere mortals who are still dreaming of our first?! 😂

What an incredible achievement and a round to remember!

WHAT A WEEKEND FOR OUR JUNIORS! 💙

Our Golf Central Victoria team headed to Terang Golf Club for the Victorian Junior Country Regions, with eight boys and two girls proudly representing our region!

Terang certainly tested everyone's skills! Tight fairways, sloping greens and tricky putting surfaces meant one missed putt could send your ball rolling 40 metres off the green! Thankfully, the weather was beautiful, with blue skies, sunshine and very little wind! ☀️

After Day One, Archie Alston and Ryder Comer were equal leaders at 4-over par!

Archie followed up with a brilliant even-par final round to finish 4-over across the two days, claiming the BOYS' GROSS CHAMPIONSHIP! 🏆👏

On Friday we were privileged to attend the Golf Australia & PGA of Australia Industry Awards which was held at Southern Golf Club. The dinner was attended by around 260 people, with many industry heavyweights in the room.

Neangar Park Golf Club was a finalist in the category of Most Outstanding Club, Facility or Place to Play – Regional. The other finalists in the category were Benalla GC and Geelong GC. And we are proud to announce that Neangar Park GC was declared the winner!

This is very special recognition of the direction the Club has taken with our facilities, offering not only a fantastic golf course, but the addition of the driving range and Pitch & Putt course in recent years.

A sincere thanks must go to our Board, and previous Boards who made the strategic decisions to deliver the facilities we have today.

To our management team and entire staff, congratulations on your efforts in developing such a welcoming environment for our members and the many visitors we host at our great Club. Also a big thank you to all our volunteers over the years for your time and hard work.

⛳ 2026 Victorian Junior Country Regions

A huge congratulations to our Golf Central Victoria junior team who are heading to Terang Golf Club on 17th & 18th October to compete in the 2026 Victorian Junior Country Regions! 🏌️‍♂️🏆

Seven talented young golfers will make the trip to Terang for what promises to be a fantastic weekend of golf, proudly representing our region:

The boys come together from clubs right across our region, representing Neangar Park Golf Club, Belvoir Golf Club, Axedale Golf Club, Heathcote Golf Club, Maldon Golf Club and Kyneton Golf Club.

It’s fantastic to see juniors from our local clubs coming together as one team and having the opportunity to represent Golf Central Victoria at this event.

We’ll be heading down to Terang for the weekend to cheer them on and can’t wait to see how the boys go!

ANNUAL FASHION PARADE 2026

What a wonderful day we had on Tuesday at Neangar Park Golf Club for our Annual Fashion Parade! 💛

With 100 lovely ladies joining us, the clubhouse was filled with laughter, friendship, beautiful fashions, delicious food and, of course, a few drinks along the way! 🥂

It was such a fantastic afternoon, and we couldn't have asked for a better group of ladies to share it with!
A huge thank you to our wonderful models Shirley, Patricia, Joan and Angela, along with our two fabulous newcomers, Denise and Penny!

You all did an amazing job showing off the beautiful outfits, bringing plenty of smiles, confidence and fun to the runway. We think you might all have a future in modelling! 💃

A very special thank you to Heather Martin and her incredible team, who once again went above and beyond to make this day such a success.

The tables looked absolutely beautiful, the lunch was amazing, and all the little touches certainly didn't go unnoticed. The dedication, hard work and countless hours that go into organising an event like this are truly appreciated. We simply couldn't do it without you!

A big thank you to Joan and Catherine for putting together another fabulous raffle, and to everyone who generously donated prizes and supported it on the day. Your generosity helped make the afternoon even more special!

OCTOBER MONTHLY MEDAL

What a way to kick off October at Neangar Park!

Cold, rain, thunder, sunshine… we pretty much had it all! 🌧️⛈️☀️ But despite the ever-changing conditions, it was still a great day out on the course with plenty of good golf along the way.

The weekend also marked the reopening of our Driving Range — and how good do our new roof and bays look! 🙌 We hope plenty of you managed to sneak in a few warm-up balls and try out the new facilities before heading out for the Monthly Medal.

🏆 October Monthly Medal Winner – Adam Woods

Adam Woods has done it again! After also taking out the August Monthly Medal, Adam produced another fantastic round, finishing 5-under his handicap with a nett 66 to claim his second Monthly Medal in just a few months.

Not far behind was Ben Cobb, with another great round of 3-under, nett 68.
In our Stableford option, Paul Godfrey took the honours with 32 points, closely followed by Jayson Wilson.

We also had a couple of eagles flying on Hole 13, with Adam Woods and Campbell Boyd both adding an eagle to their day!

Congratulations to all our grade winners, placegetters and NTP winners, and thank you to everyone who braved the changing conditions.

A new-look Driving Range, some great golf and plenty of Bendigo weather thrown in — not a bad way to start October! 💚💛

🎶 AND WHAT A WAY TO FINISH THE DAY!

After a full day of golf, there was no better way to wrap things up than with our very own local band EAR POISON taking over and entertaining a clubhouse full of fans!

The clubhouse was buzzing, the music was pumping and, of course, Morty was kept busy behind the bar serving up the drinks!
From the reopening of our Driving Range, to Monthly Medal golf, four seasons of weather and then live music to finish — what a day at Neangar Park! 💚💛

A Fantastic Day at the Australian Golf Centre

What a great experience for our Bendigo Academy of Sport golfers, who ventured down to the Australian Golf Centre for a fantastic training session.

Representing the Academy were Ryder Comer, Thomas Boucher, George Kenny, Ryan Mulholland, Hudson Ruffell, Thomas Beachey, Ollie O’Toole, Jack Clydesdale, Thomas Richards and River, with our own PGA Professional James Ranson also making the trip down to support the group.

A huge thank you to Travis Harrison, Ben King and Dan Whyley from the PGA Academy, who gave the kids an incredible day of coaching and insight. They worked through driving and speed drills, chipping from different lies, putting and green-speed work, along with plenty more throughout the session. Thanks to Abel & Max for taking time with the boys also.

The cold and rain certainly made an appearance, but it didn’t dampen anyone’s enthusiasm! It was a brilliant opportunity for the kids to experience the facilities used by some of Australia’s elite players and get a glimpse into the high-performance environment.

There was even a pretty special moment when the group got to see Jazy Roberts’ locker inside the facility — very cool for our young golfers!

A big thank you to all the coaches, James, and the families who made the trip and supported the kids. Opportunities like these are fantastic for their development, and judging by the smiles, a great day was had by all! ⛳🏌️‍♂️👏

⛳ COUNTRY WEEK – A FANTASTIC WEEK FOR NEANGAR PARK ⛳

We may be a couple of weeks late with this one, but these performances are certainly too good not to acknowledge! 👏💚

A huge congratulations to our Men’s and Women’s Country Week teams on a fantastic campaign in Ballarat.

Ballarat certainly turned on some true Country Week weather, with wind, rain and freezing cold conditions thrown at our players — but our teams battled through and represented our Region & Neangar Park brilliantly.

🏆 Our Men’s Team claimed victory in Division 2, earning promotion to Division 1 in 2027 — an outstanding achievement!

Our Women’s Team finished runners-up, with some terrific performances across all three days. A wonderful result and something to be very proud of.

It was also fantastic to see four of our juniors selected as part of the Country Week campaign, gaining valuable experience alongside some of our more experienced players.

A special mention to Archie Alston, who went through the week undefeated — a brilliant effort! 👏

And while Thomas Boucher didn’t get the opportunity to take to the course, he certainly still played his part. Thomas stepped into an important caddying role, helping the boys with reading the tricky Ballarat greens and supporting his teammates throughout the week. Sometimes being part of a team is about much more than hitting the shots, and it was great experience for one of our young players. 💚

A Shout out to our own Sally Graham for being selected and being thrown in the deep end, it was great experience and did us proud.

⛳ WOMEN’S CLUB MEDAL – OCTOBER ⛳

Another wonderful Women’s Club Medal is done and dusted, with some great golf played and plenty of friendly competition out on the course.

A huge congratulations to our October winner, Judy Hammond, coming in at 2 under. Hot on her heels were three ladies finishing at even par — Janine Sutherland, Jill Sharp and Kristiana Susanto. Some fantastic golf, ladies! 👏⛳

A very special thank you to all the ladies who brought along a plate to share for lunch. It’s always lovely to finish the golf and come together afterwards for a bite to eat, a chat and plenty of laughs. 💕
